Gary E. Perlmuter is a business and real estate attorney, and a principal of the firm, serving clients of all sizes and across a multitude of industries. He regularly assists clients with the formation, organization, governance and maintenance of business entities. Gary counsels clients on structuring their business entities and he drafts their operative documentation, including operating agreements and shareholder agreements. He also negotiates and drafts contracts and agreements utilized by businesses in manufacturing, commodities, information technology, video gaming, heath care, real estate, construction and numerous other industries. Gary regularly represents clients on business acquisitions and related transactions, including purchasing and selling existing businesses and their facilities. Clients also seek out Gary’s counsel for business and real estate succession planning.

Gary is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA). He practices before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and Michigan State Courts.

Gary earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and a Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from Wayne State University Law School where he was as a member of the Wayne Law Review from 1990-1992, and elected a Note and Comment Editor from 1991-1992. Gary has earned an “AV” rating for the highest level of professional excellence and ethics by Martindale-Hubbell®. Gary also earned a “10.0 Superb” rating from AVVO®, the highest peer review rating awarded by AVVO®.
